Cookies and local storage#
Cookies are small pieces of text a website saves in your browser; local storage is data the browser keeps for a website. Only the website that set them can read them.
What we use#
- Essential: keep you signed in to Tenon Account, switch accounts in the same browser and complete security steps such as email verification and account deletion. Sign-in and account features cannot work without them.
- Preferences: remember your light or dark appearance and Chinese or English. They contain no identity information.
We use no analytics, advertising, social plugins or cross-site tracking of any kind.

Account cookies are HttpOnly and Secure, sent only to account.tenon.asia and unreadable by page scripts. Products such as AgentHub, WeSaid and PassBy use their own session cookies on their own domains; see each product’s privacy notice.
Managing them#
You can view, clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Clearing preferences only restores the default appearance and language; blocking essential cookies prevents sign-in to Tenon Account. Signing out ends the session immediately.
Changes to this policy#
Before using any new cookie we update this page and show the cookie notice again. If we ever need analytics or other non-essential cookies, the notice will ask for your consent first.
